CrowsToes - Wonder Woman

I recently purchased a couple of CrowsToes polishes from Llarowe, which included this one - Wonder Woman.   Wonder Woman has red, blue and yellow hexes in various sizes as well as a few white hexes here and there.  Some of the hexes are holo too, I think the yellow gold ones are holo and some of the smaller hexes too, but there are so many colours reflecting that it's actually really difficult to pick out what is there.

My bottle was unbelievably thick, definitely the thickest polish I've ever tried to apply.  This was two wiped coats as thin as I could do them, layered over Essie Good as Gold.  I also created a quick Wonder Woman logo water decal for my feature nail.

I mentioned above that my bottle was really thick. It was almost like it had dried out.  The photo below shows how it first came out of the bottle.  I added lots of thinner to my bottle until it couldn't fit any more and it made it workable to apply, I just hope that the brand of thinner that I'm able to get here in Australia doesn't do anything to the glitters.

This polish is also top coat hungry.  I needed three coats of top coat to get it glassy smooth.

When you google image search for Wonder Woman (which is what I did to find the logo to create the water decal) you will see many photos of the gorgeous Lynda Carter, plus many other dressed up, rather sexy looking ladies.  In complete contrast, I couldn't post about Wonder Woman nails with sharing my Miss One.  This photo is about seven months old when she was about a month past her first birthday, and I blacked out the background (which included me in my jammies), but isn't she just the cutest Wonder Woman EVA!

Peace out ladies!

  1. Very pretty combo!

Also I think her polishes are just generally SUPER thick. My Triple Black Diamond was heaps gloopy as well before I thinned it out!

  2. I got this color too and love it. I also liked how it was so thick, but that's my preference for glitters. And yes, your WW bubba IS gorgeous!

  3. hehehe I love your little Wonder Woman :)
I have this polish and some other crows toes. They're all thick like this, like they have dried out to a paste. I'm disappointed with them.

  7. I decanted some of my I Make The Path by Crows Toes after seeing notes on the thickness on Llarowe. Added clear tc at about 50/50, and it was great. It's going to last longer, lol!

  19. Gorgeous! I have the same issue with Crowstoes polishes and I've discovered they're so much easier to apply if I add a bit of clear polish to the bottle first. No amount of thinner has ever worked for me but the clear polish does it every time. Good luck!
