Femme Fatale - Hydraxia

You know that break on my ring finger I have been nursing for the last three weeks? Well today we had a bit of a disagreement.  After filing my length down a smidge, my nail said to me,
"you know what, I've had enough hanging around here being glued in place with gel polish.  I'm not going fall off, no, I'm just going to sit out here sideways like this. How do you like that!"

I said some things to that nail then that I wont repeat here, and then with a haunting little cackle I grabbed my nail clippers and snipped that break off - I sure showed that nail who's boss!

So this means, my left ring finger nail is pretty short and rounded off.  I've filed the rest down too, but I just need to get some more length back to shape it right.  Until then I have at least a weeks worth of swatches, maybe two weeks if I really drag this out ;).

Femme Fatale - Hydraxia is a teal blue glitter polish that has teal, turquoise, ocean blue, bright blue and a few flecks of yellow glitters in various shapes and sizes. There is also a very fine irregular shaped shimmer which is really lovely on a dark base.  It's similar to Abyssal Reflections, but his doesn't have the holo glitter and is more blue toned, whereas Abyssal Reflections is more green.

I love that these glitters are one coaters!  There is not messing around with having a thick gluggy base of polish just to get some glitter on the nail.  One coat of Hydraxia layered over Ulta3 Get Teal, topped with Ozotic Mr Big High Gloss Top Coat.

Polish provided for review.

  1. Wow, what a simply gorgeous shade. I have yet to try Femme Fatale but it looks like that is something I need to do sooner rather than later!

  2. I've been trying to buy Femme Fatale polishes from the US sites that sell them and they're alway sold out, they sell out a day after the post.
