Gradient foils with stamping

I'm kinda sucking in the Valentines design nail art category this year. I did have one design in mind that I wanted to do, but I was stuffing around with the ADSL and phone lines last night and then totally forgot to do a it and just put a glitter bomb on. I'm try to do it tonight.

Here is a really striking mani that got lots of comments and attention.  I used nail foils that had both a lined holographic finish and a purple to pink to orange to yellow to green gradient.  I placed the gradient down my nail on the thumb and across all four fingers.  I then used Picture Polish Revolution for my top coat on the foils, because it never causes the foils to wrinkle up.  After that had dried I applied a coat of Seche Vite.

I then did stamping using Lily Anna Plate LA07, available from Messy Mansion.  I really love this stamp and I plan to use it again soon for some stamping decals, as it has lots of bits to colour in.

Thanks for stopping by everyone!

  2. I usually don't like foils because I feel they always turn out messy looking, but I absolutely love what you did with these. Super pretty!
