Neutral with flowers and ferns

I've definitely been on a bit of a stamping binge since I received my Mundo de Unas stamping polishes. This is the mani I wore on Mothers Day and it combines neutral shades with bright stamping.

Whilst looking through my swatch sticks I noted that Zoya Pixie Dust Godiva and China Glaze FYI are nearly an identical colour, although of course one is a textured polish and the other is a fine linear holo.  I used FYI as the base for the stamping and left Godiva showing it's texture with some added rhinestones.  I'm a bit bummed at the appearance of these resin rhinestones, so I recently decided to purchase some swarvoski stones. They haven't arrived yet, but I'm hoping they will be must sparklier, rather than looking like round coloured blobs.

For the stamping I used two green Mundo de Unas polishes and double stamped with the fern image from Lily Anna Plate LA05. The red flowers are stamped in Mundo de Unas Reddish and two different sized flower images from Messy Mansion MM20.

Both Lily Anna plate and Messy Mansion plates are available from Messy Mansion.

  1. A very lovely manicure! I really do like those two neutrals, especially their different textures. lol, When I first saw your design, I thought of Christmas and poinsettias! (Are poinsettias such a huge Thing down under around the XMas holidays like they are in the States?) But then saw the flower petals are 'fluffier'. So pretty. The various elements compliment each other so well on this beautiful mani!
The rhinestones look good to me (what size are they, please) from your photos. But I know how things look different in real life. Have you recently purchased them? I have just recently bought some metal studs and plan to get some rhinestones also. I see those wheels of them sourced from China - I suppose those are the ones I see so much in nail designs? Have you bought other rhinestones you liked? I hope you will like the crystals you ordered.
I have been seeing those stamping polishes on the Internet recently. Do you like them better than the Konad polishes?
    Thanks for the terrific photos!
