Picture Polish - Cyan

When I was planning my manicure for wearing Picture Polish Cyan, I knew I had to create a skittlette with it.  Why? Because Marta the creator of this beautiful Picture Polish shade from Chit Chat Nails, is also the creator of the Skittlette.  How could I not pair up Cyan with a Skittlette.

If you haven't read her post about dressing your nails, you should, because creating a skittlette is one of the most versatile and achievable nail art looks.

I used Picture Polish Cyan on it's own on my thumb and index finger.  On my middle and ring finger I did a circular drag marble using cyan, Freya's cats and a little dab of majesty.  On my pinky I used Zoya Solange.

Of course I also have some swatches of this gorgeous polish all on it's own.  The base colour of this is rather similar to Picture Polish Fool's Gold, although Cyan is a shade lighter. If you want to see how they compare, check out my Picture Polish colour guide.  This is most definitely a bright and strong Cyan shade, although the swatch of the Picture Polish site does make this look like a pale blue.

Cyan has some scattered holo particles as well as a more crelly finish, where it's not quite a jelly but definitely not a creme.  The coverage is great and you will get opacity in two coats.  This is two coats plus Seche Vite top coat.

Picture Polish Cyan is available from Picture Polish. International ladies can purchase through one of the many Network stockists.

Polish provided for consideration.
