Gelicious Cities Collection

Last summer I swatched a collection of new soak of gel colours for Aussie brand Gelicious.  I'm quite a fan of the polishes, but I'm seriously disappointed in the way my swatch photos have been photoshopped on their website. I'm not going to go into it again, as I have covered it before, but what I will do is provide you with my real, un-photoshopped swatches of each of the colours in the Cities collection.

The first four shades have only recently been released, whereas the bottom four shades were released some time late last year or early this year.

I am Brisbane - Brisvegas - a rich hot pink.

I am Brisbane - Surfing at Straddie - a soft pale pink with good opacity.

I am Adelaide - Divine Vines - a rich dark teal green

I am Adelaide - Moscato - a mid toned, feminine dusty pink.

I am Melboure - Cocktails in Flinders Lane - A sparkly metallic rose gold.  Think Orly rage.

I am Melbourne- Smith Street Hipster - a vampy dark red with a jellyish finish.

I am Sydney - Backpackers Rip - a stunning inky blue with a jelly finish.  Needs several coats to get it opaque and not streaky.

I am Sydney - Palmie - A bright and pigmented coral pink.

It should also be noted that the labels on my bottles here are not the real bottles and do not represent the real label colours (although I have not seen the actual bottles in real life, but the bottles on the Gelicious website have different coloured labels to these - although they have been photoshopped into my swatches as well)

You can purchase the Cities collection polishes via the Gelicious Website.

  1. Nice polishes, I like the finish. That blue is amazing :-D

  2. Some of these are nice!
I'd just like to say that although Gelicious is an Australian company, their products are actually made in China in the Bluesky factory, meaning they are probably the same quality as Bluesky (which is a budget brand) and sold for over twice the price.
Your swatches are beautiful though, I don't know why they feel the need to photoshop them.
