Picture Polish - New York with MILV water decals

I have one of the new Picture Polish shades to show you today, New York by Color4Nails.  It's lovely to see a collaboration shade with C4N, I've been a fan of Sisi's website for a long time as she not only stocks a huge range of indie and international brands, but her customer service is second to none.

I wore this New York paired up with some MILV water decals that I purchased through Picture Polish.  These decals are great to work with, but are definitely much thinner that other water decals that I've tried.  I found that unless you have a really wet nail and decal, then the decal would grab onto the nail and would be hard to re-position, that's why the middle finger is a tiny bit lopsided.

What I did love about the water decals is how easily they are to clean up with acetone.  Just like cleaning up polish with acetone on a brush, these decals dissolve so easily making clean up a breeze.

This was the mani I wore to this year's Floriade. Floriade is Australia's biggest celebration of spring and showcases one million flowers in bloom for one month.  We went in the last week, so many of the flowers were finishing, but there were still lots in bloom too.  There was definitely a predominance of red, orange and yellow flowers this year, so my pink mani didn't match too well.

Here is New York on it's own.  I'd describe New York as a mid toned dusty pink with a scattered holo effect.  Application was good and it was opaque in two coats.

Picture Polish New York is available from Picture Polish. International ladies may be able purchase through one of the many Network stockists if they have this in stock.

Polish provided for consideration.

  1. New York is gorgeous!! Seeing that you're the absolute connaisseur on Ozotics and their scattered holo is still my favorite kind of holo, could you tell me how close New York's finish is to that of the Ozotic ones? *tries to do the puppy eyes look and fails miserably*
