Picture Polish - Bordeaux

Hello everyone. I have to just say, my nail polish inbox is totally out of control.  I'm so super strict with my work email, I flag actions and file messages and like to keep my inbox with no more items than I can see in window. But my nail polish inbox is in serious trouble.  I get a lot of spam, and it takes a lot of work going through that spam to find real messages.  The number of SEO emails and other emails telling me how they can improve my site and drive more traffic is ridiculous.  Sure, my site isn't perfect, but it does its purpose for what I want. So if you have send me an email, I apologise that I haven't replied.  I'll get there one day.

Let's move onto today's look.  I created some stamping decals with my UberChic stamping mat.  I stamped with white polish and coloured it in with Picture Polish New York.  I then applied those decals over my base of Bordeaux.

Bordeaux is a collaboration shade created with Picture Polish's stockist in Macau, Nil Nails. Bordeaux is a dark wine jelly scatter holo and is opaque in two coats.

Now some swatches of Bordeaux on its own.  These photos were take under artificial light and the colour therefore looks redder and brighter than the burgundy colour in natural light.

Let me know if anyone is interested in a comparison post of bordeaux against some of the other Picture Polish red/burgundy scatter holos, such as monroe, bridget or o'hara.

Picture Polish Bordeaux is available from Picture Polish. International ladies may be able purchase through one of the many Network stockists if they have this in stock.
Polish provided for consideration.

  1. Would LOVE to see a comparison! I'm always on the look-out for them, especially with brands that you buy online.
So yes, please! And thank you for your wonderful blog - you're right: no need to change anything :-)

  2. Please do a comparison post, it would be greatly appreciated! I currently have my eye on all of the PP reds you listed for comparison and I can't decide which one I want (first)!
