Orly Blush Collection - Flawless Flush and Naked Canvas

I have two shades from the Orly Spring 2014 Blush Collection to show you tonight.  The collection is a range of four cremes and two shimmers inspired by natural, feminine beauty.

My two picks from the collection were the Lilac shimmer Flawless Flush and the Nude creme Naked Canvas. I have swatches and some nail art of how I wore this pair of polishes.

Flawless Flush is a pastel lilac with a golden shimmer. Formula was great and it was perfect in two coats.

Naked Canvas was the surprise for me.  When I applied it inside it was indeed what it was advertised to be, a nude creme polish.  But then I stepped intothe sun to take my photos and there was this amazing fine purple shimmer.  It's so pretty!

I was also so pleasantly surprised with the formula on this one, being a nude I expected it to be a bit thin and streaky, but it wasn't.  This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

I combined these two polishes into a pretty girly nail art look.  I did a gradient with both Naked Canvas and Flawless Flush. I then dabbed on a glitter gradient using Shimmer Polish Karen.  I then stamped using Born Pretty Store White stamping polish and Moyou plate Suki 06.

I love the glitter, but I feel like it almost hides the subtle gradient in the background created with the two Orly polishes.

The collection also has:
  • Classic Contours: Mauve creme
  • First Blush: Hot pink creme
  • Dare to Bare: Musk pink creme
  • Cheeky : Soft coral shimmer
These are scheduled for release here in Australia in February 2014. Check www.orlybeauty.com.au for stockists.

Polishes provided for review.

  3. I agree that some of the gradient is lost, but the end result is soooo beautiful. What's more, you combined a series of fairly simple techniques to creat a manicure that gives the impression of being hand-painted and very complex -- brilliant!
