I used Cirque Gaia as part of my May the Fourth mani and I loved it so much I needed to wear it again, but on a lot more nails. 

Gaia is a black jelly with larger platinum gold metallic flakes.  The metallic flakes show through the jelly base nicely and there is a lovely depth to the shade, although I have to say it was a tricky one for me to photograph.  That's probably because the polish I paired it with is so shiny.

I paired it up with some Amazeballz extra fine, which I applied one coat over some heart shaped nail vinyls.

Here's a combo that I wore over the weekend.  Cirque Qi and come complementing coloured full nail water decals from the Born Pretty Store.  I actually bought the decals over a year ago, so I no idea if they are still available.  But I do like buying cheap sets of water decals in a variety of colours, as it makes for some quick and effective nail art combos.

Cirque Qi is a medium turquoise blue shade with lots of gold glass flecks.  Formula is great and this two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Hi everyone.  I'm pretty excited tonight because tomorrow morning I have to go to work (even though it's Saturday and I have a regular office job), because my team is releasing another website after several months of work.  It's another massive weight off my shoulders to get this project finished and I'm hoping that with the end of this project I'll get a bit more of my blogging mojo back. My posts have been pretty light on recently.  Plus I've finally got all my goodies ready for my 5 year blog anniversary giveaway - so I will get that up this weekend too.

Today's post features two more polishes from the Cirque Colors Awakening collection. These too colours just screamed at me to be worn together, I just love pink and grey together.

The pink shade is called Love Stone and is a soft pastel pink with gold flakes.  The grey shade is called New Moon and its a concrete grey with silver flakes.

Happy Easter to those that celebrate.  We've had a lovely quite day full of chocolate, family and roast dinners.

On my nails I wore Cirque Hatch, which is a white polish speckled with grey flakies.  The polish appearance looked just like an egg shell, so I was inspired to create these cracked egg shell nails.  As per my past experiences with Cirque Colors polishes, Hatch was a dream to apply.  I only needed two coats for full opacity and the finish was smooth even without top coat.

On my ring finger I have a little chick that is ready to emerge, he was made using yellow polish and yellow flocking powder - he actually was soft and fluffy.

Our home phone line busted itself today which means both the phone and the ADSL aren't working. The Telstra techo wont be here until Monday to look at the line and hopefully fix it.  But luckily we have a wireless dongle with some credit on it, so at the moment we are all hooked up to that. If I'm a bit absent over the next few days, or if I don't reply to your emails, you know why!

Back in January, when Femme Fatale cosmetics had their new year sale, I grabbed some polishes I had been wanting for a long time.  Cirque Lonesome George was one of those.  It's funny, I loved the look of this polish so much, but had never bought it in the past because it felt like I was cheating on my beloved scattered green holo Kyrptonite.  But of course, Lonesome George and Kryptonite have absolutely nothing in common other than being green and both being gorgeous! I don't know why I waited so long to get it.

I also wore Lonesome George with a bit of abstract nail art.  I stamped with Bundle Monster plates BM418 and BM426 using OPI Love, Angel, Music Baby as I had read that it stamped well. It turns out it doesn't show up much over a green holo though! I then placed some different sized gold studs in the middle of the swirled circles.

The sun was hidden behind bushfire smoke haze, so there are no sun photos of these, but at least you can see what Lonesome George looks like indoors or in the shade.

I have two gorgeous Cirque polishes from the Alchemy Colletion to show you today, both featuring some stamping from my quickly growing collection MoYou plates.

First up is Baptisia, which is a strong shimmery midnight indigo. It reminds me of my favourite purple ever, Pretty Serious Poltergeist Puddle, which means this one is right up there with my favourtie colours.  The formula is perfect and this is two easy coats shown without top coat.  I love how you can see both pink and blue sparkles as well as the shimmer.

I stamped the star shape formed by lines that is on Moyou Plate Back to the 70's 01. I used Color Club Eternal Beauty as my stamping polish.

Next up the bright Chrysopoeia which is a marigold holographic polish. The richness of this colour is fantastic, and the formula is smooth and easy to apply. This is two coats with top coat.

I actually didn't know what "Chrysopoeia" meant in relation to Alchemy, so I googled it.  It turns out that it means transmutation into gold. But it was also used in the title of an alchemical textbook called Chrysopoeia of Cleopatra.  That instantly inspired me to create some Egyptian themed stamping using my MoYou plates.  I used Artist Plate 07 for the hieroglyphs on my middle and ring finger and for the image of Cleopatra on my thumb. I used Explorer 04 to create the patterned tip. 

I really loved this mani, I love it when a bit of a connection can be drawn between polish names and nail art.

I recently took some inspiration from the queen of glitter placement Polish All the Nails, and created a glitter placement mani using diamond shaped silver holographic glitters.

My base is the beautiful Cirque Magnum Opus, which is a purple-charcoal with a holo flame.  

My spacing isn't perfect with these glitters, but I was happy with the overall effect. It's bloody hard to get those glitters evenly spaced, especially when the diamond shapes aren't all cut evenly.

Here are some bonus swatches of Magnum Opus on it's own.  You can really see the two colours in the base of the polish. The first and third photos really show off the purple sheen, but the second photo shows the gold leaning charcoal.  Its a very beautiful holo.
