I have some swatches from the recent Sayuri Nail Lacquer Colourful Character Collection.  There are seven polishes in the collection and I have swatches of four of them, as well as some nail art using three of them.

Lets start with my nail art, which is how I wore these lacquers for a couple of days.  I did a tri colour gradient using Night Owl, Wall flower and Song Bird.  I then stamped using Mundo de Unas Black polish and Born Pretty Plate BL-003.

Dark Horse - an orchid purple crème with violet shimmer, silver micro flakies and a scattered holo. This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat. The formula is smooth and easy to apply.

Night Owl -  a periwinkle-blurple crelly with purple shimmer, gold and blue micro flakies and a subtle holo.  This one looks much more saturated when you see it in the sun compared to indoors.  Such a gorgeous colour though and it has a definite duo chrome shift from blue to purple. This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Song Bird - a shimmery light jade crème with blue micro flakies and a scattered holo. A soft yet striking minty green that looks like it should taste like spearmint. This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Wall Flower - is a Barbie pink crème with green and silver-white micro flakies, tiny matte fluro pink glitters and a subtle holo.  This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Sayuri Nail Lacquer's new Speakeasy Collection launched earlier this week and is inspired by 1920s speakeasy culture. I have three of the polishes from the collection to show you, mixed with a little bit of nail art with how I wore them.

The Cat's Meow - a glitter topper packed with pastel green, lavender, pink, blue, and yellow hexes, balanced out with some black squares and hexes.  I layered two coats over white on my index and ring finger.  On my middle and ring finger I played around with my new Emily de Molly stamping plates.  I stamped in black onto the stamper with a design from EDM02, then just swiped some colour onto various parts of the stamp.  The colours I wiped on were Picture Polish wisteria, cotton candy and honey dew.  I then let the design dry on the stamper for about 1-2 minutes and then just stamped it onto my nail like I normally would.  I didn't use top coat on the stamper to create a decal or anything, and I wasn't really expecting it to transfer onto my nail as perfectly as it did.  I'm definitely going to be using this technique a lot more, because it's quick and the results are so effective.

I really liked how the black and colours in the stamping design really bought out the black and pastel colours in the glitter.

Oh, Horsefeathers! - a of a light blue milky jelly base packed with lilac, orange, yellow, and red hexes.  There is also plenty of thin, fine and most importantly flat holographic silver and blue micro bars.  My photos don't capture the awesome appearance of the holo bars.  I actually really love them in the polish, so many indie brands stay away from bars because they don't get much love, but these fine little holo ones are pretty.  You definitely get the feathers feel from this polish. This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Spifflicated - a bright pink, than leans slightly coral toned with a fine holographic sparkle and a blue shimmer. The holo is hard to capture in photos, but it's definitely there in real life.  This is two coats on its own.

I also did a bit of stamping on this design too, but it was really only visible in the shade.  This design is from Emily de Molly plate EDM01 and I really wanted to try it because the design was so fine and intricate.  I wasn't expecting it to transfer so perfectly because the lines are so thin, but as you can see, it did!  I love this plate!

I'm sneaking in a few polish swatch and review posts in between my 31 day challenge nails, and the first one I have to show you is four lovely polishes from Aussie indie brand Sayuri Nail Lacquer.

Clouded Skies - a blue creme polish with a grey undertone and silver shimmer. Smooth and easy to apply and opaque in two coats.  This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Galaxy Magic - an array of black glitter shapes mixed with neon pink, blue, green, and yellow fine glitters.  This reminds me of a finer, neon glitter version of Emily de Molly Abstract Canvas, but they really are completely different polishes when I compare them - I just get the same vibe!  Those rectangular glitters are very interesting, and it's worth noting they are not pesky like bar glitters can be. This is one coat over white.

Neo Plasma - an off white crelly base packed with neon green, watermelon pink, grape, and lavender hexes with a fine holo shimmer. This is quite a unique mix of colours in a neutral base.  Application is a little trickier because of the crelly base and the amount of glitter, but it only needs two coats for full coverage.  I used two coats of top coat to make sure it was really smooth.

Sugar Coated Dreams - this is a matte pastel multi coloured glitter polish, which is basically the matte pastel version of my absolute favourite Sayuri polish - Love, Sayuri.  I did one coat over Clouded Skies and I know this would look stunning over white too.
