Cover Girl Ice Slicks Crystal over black

While I'm working on my top 11 of 2011 post, here is a quick post with a NOTD.  I've been having a run of wearing iridescent glitters over black recently, and this one is a pretty one that shifts from yellow/gold to aqua green.

This is Cover Girl Ice Slicks in Crystal, two coats over a black base.

This is such a pretty polish and is similar to the Ozotic Elytra in the way the glitter shifts colour, yet I don't see these old polishes getting much love.  I know this is a pretty old polish, and sure to be discontinued.  Does anyone know how old it is?

  1. I love color shifting glitter too. This looks like Inglot XL3 and XL4 combined :) I wish they made hexagon glitters like this, like Kiko 270, or the larger glitters in CG Snow Globe.

  2. This is really cool! It kind of reminds me of Sinful Colors Agaci, which was sent to me but I've never seen in a store either. I don't know how old this is, I wish I could help there.

  3. This looks amazing! I would totally rock it matte. Not sure how old it is but I know I had a bottle, god had to be at least 4 years ago.

  5. ooooooo pretty! I never think about cover girl nail polishes. I may have to give them another look. It would look like pretty pretty princess nails over a light pink or purple.
