Good evening ladies and gentlemen, here we are back at More Nail Polish central for another Digital Dozen week. Thank goodness for these once a month prompts to keep me posting here. I still have a memory card full of nail art that is unedited and consequently unposted, maybe one day it will turn up here.
This weeks theme for Digital Dozen is quite hideous. Texture. Now I'm the type of girl that wears her nail art. I rarely just paint it onto four nails photograph it and move on. I'm an all ten nails kinda girl. Ten nails with textured polish on them is really just awful. It's like having unfiled rough nail tips on every nail that snag on bits of fabric and end up with bits of fluff. I've only done three manis so far for this prompt, and I'm just not sure I'm gonna get to all five and the texture is torture.
For this first mani I've used two textured polishes. Zoya Solange and OPI Jinx. I then stamped over them. The gradient is ok, even if it's rough, but my stamping is bloody shoddy, I'm out of practice. Go check out Tracey from Olivia Jade Nails, cause that girl can stamp!
