Today is dots day, and let me say this is the third dot mani I did for this prompt. The first two were really pretty bad. First I wore a purple base with a round glitter topper. It didn’t look smooth and ended up being pretty chunky. The second look was a nude shade with tiny pastel dots in a few shades. I’d seen the idea on someone else and it looked lovely, but mine smudged and wasn’t nice. So now it’s design number three.
This one is ok, and what I did like about it was comparing the different shades of grey. When I did the dots, they were all made using black polish mixed with white, and the grey shade is blue tinted. Whereas the base polish, which is also grey, is more of a greige, that is a beige leaning grey.
