Konad stamping plate - Cat design M91

Konad recently release five new stamping plates, and I was lucky enough to receive one of them from Nail Polish Canada. The plate I got was M91 which features a range of cat designs.  Here is the design I created with it. I used Picture Polish Beige and Black for the base colours and stamped with Konad special stamping polish in both black and white.

Here is the plate image (courtesy of Nail Polish Canada). I used the centre image with the paw prints on my thumb and four of the single images, one on each nail.  For the image of the eyes, I stamped in white, then used a dotting tool and Ulta3 Jelly to dot in the eyes. Jelly is a jelly green polish so the black lines on the eyes still showed through.

The quality of Konad plates is always excellent, smoothly engraved and the designs pick up very easily.

I'm a crazy cat lady, so I think this plate is just the cutest thing ever.  Stamped in black, these little black kitties look just like Slinky Malinki. I love Slinky Malinki and so both my kiddos.

Check out the Nail Polish Canada website for details on this and the other four new konad plates.

Lynnderella - Tanzanite Truth, Peridot Power and Ruby Passion

I've got three Lynnderella's polishes to cover tonight, because I just have too much material to post about that I can't just keep each one for a separate post.  These three polishes are from the Birthstones and Talismans Collection and I have two more from that collection to show you before I move onto the latest collection - Once Upon a Prince and More Man Candy.

Tanzanite Truth - I'm a December babe, so this one is my birthstone polish. Tanzanite Truth has violet, purple and blue glitters in a multi-colour shimmered clear base.  I layered one coat of TT over Orly Lunar Eclipse, which seemed to have the perfect blue/purple shimmery base to match the glitters in TT.  The blue glitters in this are so much darker than any other blue glitter bomb polish I have.  Really beautiful.

Bottle comparison time, with Tanzanite Truth, Mlle Violette de Bleu and Bibbitty Bbbitty Boo Blue.

Peridot Power - I actually put this one on Tuesday night last week, ready to wear for the next day.  The following day was my mum's birthday and last year I have her a bottle of Chanel Peridot, because it was her birthstone. Now, here I was, exactly a year later wearing my latest Peridot polish, completely unplanned.  I just wished I had a second bottle to give to her.

Peridot Power contains translucent neon yellow and lime hexagons as well as chartreuse glitters accented with micro glitters in a clear base. Some of the glitters are also holographic. This is one coat of PP layered over China Glaze Running in Circles.

Bottle comparisons: She Lived in a Swamp, Peridot Power, Beleaf is magic.

Ruby Passion - I was expecting a Ruby polish to be more red, but this is definitely a pink glitter polish.  Ruby Passion has magenta, red, purple and rose glitters in a pink-shimmered clear base.  This is one dabbed coat over Ulta3 Sunset Pink, the glitter in this one is super dense!  Depending on the lighting this can look pink or purple.

Bottle comparisons, and there are quite a few in this colour group. Parfait d'Amour, Ruby Passion, The Garden of Even, Garnet Grace and A Party of a Dress.

Dance Legend Holographic polishes - lots of them!

Remember way back at the beginning of May I showed you two of the Dance Legend Holo polishes? At the time I said I was so impressed with them, that I had just ordered a whole bunch more of the other colours.  Then remember at the end of July when I posted about some of the DL Thermo polishes and I said that it had been 10 weeks since my Dance Legend order had been shipped and I still hadn't got it.  I didn't think my package was ever going to arrive.  But then, another three weeks later, and at a total of 13 weeks (or just over three months) my package arrived!  I'm guessing that my package must have been shipped by sea mail, cause there was no air mail stickers on the package, and three months is consistent with the normal sea shipping times.  After my long, long wait I was very happy to have my order in my hands.

I didn't buy all the holos, only the colours that really appealed to me. I skipped most of the pink shades. So lets have a look at the ones I got.

T-1000.  Firstly I just have to comment on the name of the polish. I freaking love it!  A polish named after a terminator, even the boys would approve of this one!  Polish wise, this is a classic silver holo, and considering I have more than enough silver holos to put a different one of every finger for three days straight, did I really need another silver holo.  No I didn't, but I had to get this polish because of it's name, and the good thing is, is that it is a superb silver holo. Great pigmentation, opaque in two coats, excellent non dragging formula and an incredible holo flame.  Enough said.

Optic Illusion - dark burgundy violet. Just a stunning colour sometimes it looks more wine coloured and other times it looks more purple. Again, excellent opacity, formula and flame.

Teleportation - a pastel lilac purple.

New Messiah - pale gold. I'm so in love with this polish.  It's just the sort of gold shade that I love, a platinum cool toned gold.  The holo flame isn't quite as strong in this polish as the others, but it still is a very strong linear holo.

Fantastic Trip -soft pastel peach. This is the only pinkish one I bought and it is certainly more of a coral colour with orange undertones.

Cosmic Rainbow - bright and vibrant purple.  This one (together with the New Messiah) is the one I was looking forward to most. It's much more vivid and bright than Color Club Eternal Beauty.  This is one of those polishes that truly is distracting!

High Voltage - bright medium blue.  A fairly standard holo shade, colour wise its along the same lines as Ozotic 515, although the holo effect is completely different, with this being a much smoother and finer holo effect.

And now just a quick look at the other three Dance Legend holos I have that were covered in this post.
