It's been absolutely ages since I wore a Lynnderella polish, and recently I grabbed for one of the most amazing polishes of it's time.  Back in 2011 when this polish was released, there really wasn't anything else like it on the planet.  With it's mix of over 100 different glitters, it was the glitter bomb to rule all other glitter bombs. It was one of the first Lynnderella polishes I ever owned and it holds a special place in my heart.

For this mani I wore The Glitter Crowd over Lacquersity Amazeballs and stamped in black with Messy Mansion plate MM20.  Sadly these photos reflect the wet dreary day that I photographed them on, and not the bright blingy sparklies that they actually were.  I also forgot to put a PVA peel off base coat on, so this was a biotch to remove!

Something really simple to show you tonight, a good old glitter tip gradient.

My base is two coats of OPI Don't touch my tutu and the glitter tip is sponged on layers of Lynnderella Diamond Light.

Bleah, I'm boring tonight, I have nothing interesting to tell you. 

Time to see sparkly nails and then to move along.

From one season to another, here is a mani that has a very wintery feel to me, and dare I say 'Winter is coming'.  I'm excited that the new season of GoT has started, I don't watch very much TV (I'm normally too busy blogging and doing my nails), but GoT is my one exception.

I started with a base of Picture Polish Swagger on all nails except the ring, which was just a white base.  I then stamped using the opposite colour.   Next I added some glitter tips.  I used Lynnderella Ice the snowcake for the white glitter and Forget You Not for the blue glitter.  Then lastly, just because I wanted even more sparkle, I added a thin coat of a fine holographic glitter.  Think China Glaze Fairy Dust, except this was one I mixed up myself.

I've been messing about with a new blog design, mainly just to bring my blog into the mobile era with a responsive design. I'm just struggling with the CSS for some of the widgets (like Linkwithin) to get them to work on small resolution. I know usually when others talk about doing a new blog design, I rarely see it as I always read blog posts via RSS on my ipad.  Therefore I image many of you wont even notice, as long as I don't royally screw it all up!!

Another Christmas Day is done an dusted. We had a fabulous day with the kids and the rest of my family.  The kids were so excited that Santa visited and had so much fun opening and playing with their gifts.

Here is the mani I wore for Chirstmas Day.  It's a skittlette featuring Lynnderella Season's Glitterings, which is such a perfect name for a Christmas nail polish.  On my ring finger and thumb is OPI Big Apple Red, which is a stunning one coat red polish.  The stripes on my pinky are OPI Jade is the new Black and Big Apple Red.  I used a couple of really sweet christmas nail stickers that I got from Beauty World.  On the ring finger is a little christmas tree and on my thumb is a wrapped present (in the matching red green and yellow stripe as my pinky) and some candles.

At the risk of boring you all with more glitter bombs, I'm continuing with part two of the Lynnderella Twelve Days of Christmas Collection.

Seven Swans Swimming - a multi coloured shimmer base with white, silver and pink matte glitters and micro glitter, as well as a few tiny holographic silver stars. I'm wearing one coat over Picture Polish Sky.  I love the large snowflake glitters, but they are quite stiff so you will want to position then in the middle of your nail where it is the flattest.

Eight Maids Minting - contains assorted mint, gold and neon glitters in a mint-shimmered clear base. This is one coat over Ulta3 Corsican Rose.

Nine Drummers Dreaming -  a mixture of purple, red and green glitter, accented with white glitter in a violet-shimmered clear base.  This is one dabbed coat over Cirque Baptisia.

Ten Pipers Pinking - Pink holographic heaven. At first look, this seems to bee a simple single glitter mix of holograph pink micro glitters, but it is actually more complex than that.  It contains pink holographic, fuchsia and iridescent blue micro glitter with strong blue shimmer in a cool pink base.

Eleven Ladies Dancing - This one is so festive for a multicoloured glitter.  It has a blend of reds, neon and other brights in a clear base.The red glitters in this just pop so much.  This is one coat over Essie Good as Gold.

Twelve Lads with Lemmings - contains lavender, red and gold glitters in a lilac, pink, and blue shimmered clear base.  This is one coat over Pretty Serious Into Dreams.

I really love this holiday collection, there is such a mix of colours and definitely something for everyone.

As always, I'm excited to share with you the latest collection from Lynnderella - Twelve Days of Christmas.  We all know the song, so I love seeing how it's been interpreted into 12 different shades of nail polish.  Twelve polishes is too many for me to show in on post, so I'll show you the remaining six tomorrow night.  I had a hard time deciding if I counted up from the first day of Christmas, or whether I should could down. Counting down seems to roll of my tongue better, but I stuck with counting upwards like the full song.

Partridge in a Pear Tree - This one is your perfect Christmas in a bottle glitter bomb polish with red, gold and green glitters. I love this color combo, but I feel I can really only get away with wearing these colours together during the holiday season, otherwise I'm just too festive during the year. I've layered one coat of PiaPT over Essie Good as Gold.

Two Turtle Doves - after swatching is on a swatch stick I knew it wasn't really going to get opacity on it's own, so I layered two coats over Ulta3 Lilac Bloom. The polish has assorted grey, lilac, black and silver glitters with multi coloured glitter accents in an intense blue-violet shimmered translucent grey base. The violet blue shimmery base is simply amazing.

Three French Hens - a multi-coloured shimmery and micro glitter clear base with black, navy, green, red and iridescent blue glitters.  I love layering polishes with black glitter of a nude base.  This is one coat of Three French Hens over OPI Don't Pretzel my Buttons.

 

Four Calling Birds - has red, green, blue and yellow glitters in a multi coloured shimmered clear base. A friend recommended that I try this one over pink, and considering that I'm not a huge pink wearer, I fell in love with it. This combo is gorgeous.  This is one layer over Picture Polish Fairy Floss.

Five Golden Rings - yes, yes, yes, just what I was hoping for. Another stunning gold glitter bomb.  This one is made with holographic white and yellow gold dots mixed with other gold glitters in a gold-shimmered clear base. This is two coats layered over Milani 3D. Be still my heart!

Six Geese Laughing - A very close second love from this part of the collection.  This one has assorted shades of green glitter with a subtle multi coloured glitter accent and mint green shimmer. I like that the geese are laughing, not laying. I can relate much more to happy laughing geese rather than them trying to push a... well you know know I mean.
