Tonight I'm sharing with you some polishes from a new to me Aussie indie brand Stella Nails. What's special about this indie brand is that, just like Emily de Molly, Stella Nails is from my home town of Canberra. Let's take a look at some of these shades.
Athena - a mix of green micro glitters in a slightly tinted green base. Application was nice and smooth and opacity achieved after two coats. It's a nice olive leaning green, not to bright and grassy. This is two coats with Seche Vite.
Azure - an aqua blue jelly with a holographic flame. Still a little sheer at two coats, but more accentuated in these photos. Pretty holo. This is two coats with Seche Vite.
Bah Humbug - a delicious dark and vampy shimmery maroon. It looks quite black indoors, but in the sun or direct lighting the shimmer lights up. Oh and it also has a gorgeous holo flame. This is two coats with Seche Vite.
Berry Nice - a magenta berry jelly with a holo flame. This is most definitely the pink sister to the blue Azure. Very jelly like and squishy so it shows the holo really well, but it also show a little bit of nail line. Another coat might have helped that though. This is three coats with Seche Vite.
Silent Night -a stunning navy blue holo. Indoors and in the shade, the navy base is darker compared to these photos in the direct sun. The opacity was great for this, two coats for full coverage, but not too opaque that it hides the holo. This is two coats with Seche Vite.
Stella Nails is available from the Stella Nails Etsy Store. For other Canberrans, I've seen on the Stella Nails Facebook page that she's been at The Old Bus Depot Markets before. Check her Facebook page to see if she's going back again if you want to see the polishes in person. I'm not actually sure if she ships internationally, but you could ask this on Facebook too.
