Picture Polish - Urban Cremes

What nail polish lover doesn't love a great creme polish? Or in this case, four of them.  Here are my swatches of the new Picture Polish Urban Creme shades that go on sale next Monday 14 April.

I love wearing a simple creme shade sometimes, although I do get odd looks from those I work with who wonder why I don't have some sort of fancy nail art on.

Totes - orange based yellow creme with a fantastic formula. This is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.  A rather unique colour in my collection and one I wasn't sure that I would love, but surprisingly it was a very uplifting polish to wear. The colour makes you feel happy.

Bonkers - a vivid berry creme that is nicely opaque with a fantastic formula.  This could be worn as a quick one coater, although I did two coats for this swatch.  The finish is perfect and high gloss, which is why you can see the sun and clouds reflected in my nails.

Because bonkers was so opaque I wanted to test how it would stamp.  It stamped very nicely.

Chillax - a bright turquoise creme. My new camera photographs this very blue, so it is definitely more green than this, although it is certainly an in between shade of blue and green. The colour is quite similar to Picture Polish Jade, but without the shimmer.  Again, great formula. This is two coats with top coat.

Swagger - the perfect periwinkle blue.  I have a little secret to tell about this polish!  Early this year the girls at Picture Polish told me they were going to release some new creme polishes this year.  I immediately jumped at the opportunity to tell the girls which colour I absolutely needed in a creme.  You see every time I tried to create rainbow nail art, I never had a Picture Polish blue shade that would blend in nicely with the other rainbow colours, I always had to use another brand.  Anyway, I sneakily sent the girls an email asking for them to consider making of the the creme polishes in a blue shade along the lines of Pantone 2718C.

When I first saw bottle shots on the Picture Polish Facebook page I knew they had nailed it and I immediately fell in love with it.  It was also just a perfect on my nails as it looked in the bottle.  I  have in fact already worn this in three separate nail art looks this week.  This is two coats with top coat.

The Picture Polish Urban Cremes will be available for sale on Monday 14 April at 9:00am AEST, direct from Picture Polish. International ladies can also purchase through one of the many Network stockists.

  5. Love the Totes! It sorta reminds me of Zoya Cole, which I am also interested in. They are all beautiful polishes, though.
