Picture Polish - Hercynia

The last release of Picture Polish shades was real eye candy for me, as it included a selection of new green shades.  My Kryptonite was looking a litting lonely in the green range of Picture Polish, but the collaborations from Nailderella, Polish Infatuated, Lucy's Stash and Nail Escapades changed all that will four new green shades.

Today I've got Hercynia from Nailderella to show you.  This is a bright forest green with lots of ultra fine bijou holo shimmer.  As well as the holo shimmer, there are tiny multicoloured glass flecks.  You should check out Karine's post at Nailderella for her amazing macro shots.

The day I wore this I paired it up with some gold stamping (I just love green and gold together and it's the second time I've shown it in two days).  The gold stamping was done with Hit the Bottle stamping polish in To have and to Gold.  The placed blue glitter and studs are from the Born Pretty store. The stamping plate with the peacock design is from Emily de Molly plate EdM04.

Here are some swatches of Hercynia on it's own where you can see the holo shimmer a bit better.  This swatch is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.  The formula is great and it's really easy to apply.

Picture Polish Hercynia is available from Picture Polish. International ladies may be able purchase through one of the many Network stockists if they have this in stock.
