31DC2016 - Animal Print and Digital Dozen turns 4

Oh man I struggled hard with this one.  I needed to combine Animal print with the number 4.  I was so close to creating a pretty basic stamped design with a combo of four simple stamped animal prints. You know, giraffe, zebra, tiger and leopard.  But that just seemed way to basic and wouldn't be enough of a challenge.  Sad, I know!

In the end I ended up with this design which has two nice animal prints and two images of actual animals.

My four animals are four of the deadly animals you will find in Australia.
  • On my index finger I have a box jellyfish.  I'm so happy with how Mr Jellyfish turned out I want to do a full mani with jellyfish on them.
  • On my middle finger I have the shell of a cone snail. Can you belive that one of those little suckers it in the top 10 of deadlish animals in Australia.
  • On my ring is the most deadly animal in Australia, the brown snake.  Those bloody nasty things, once had one in the backyard years ago, I hope I never see one again.
  • On my pinky is a redback spider.  Not really deadly anymore because of antivenom, but they really are everywhere, and whilst you may not die anymore you will get really sick.

So on that note, here are my four deadly Australian animal print nails.

  2. You've done such a great job on this one! I saw a redback spider in our yard for the first time since I came to OZ, and it freaked me out! :o
