31DC2016 - Galaxy - Window to the universe

Galaxy prompt has bought me some of my very favourite designs in the 31 Day Challenge over the last three years, but coming up with something new and different gets increasingly difficult as the years go by.

Today I have recreated a mani I did previously that I wasn't very happy with my final mani.  the reason I wasn't happy last time is because I chose the wrong stamping window size from the Messy Mansion plate. This time I got it right. The other big difference since I last did this mani is that we now have clear jelly stampers.  How did I ever manage this design without a clear jelly stamper before (by applying a gel top coat to the galaxy mani and then removing the stamping when I got it wrong - that's how)

I used a new collaboration shade for the base of my galaxy mani, Picture Polish holo sphere by Simply Nailogical.  Not surprisingly the polish has nice mix of holo glitters and scattered holo particles, but it also have a pretty blue glass fleck shimmer.

I actually remembered to snap my base of holo sphere before I applied the galaxy. Formula was nice and I used two regular coats. I got a nice mix of glitter particles and the opacity was good.
