Femme Fatale Cosmetics Latest Release nail polishes

It seems like it's been absolutely ages since I've done a huge glitter swatch spam post, and I sure do have one for you today.  Yesterday, Femme Fatale Cosmetics released ten new glitter shades and I have swatches of them all.  I've been doing so much nail art lately that a glitter bomb is a really nice change.

Mermaidens Adoration - A clear base with a mix of pale aquas, blues and golds, accented with iridescent green and lime green shimmers. I wore two thin coats over Picture Polish Tiffany, which was the perfect matching base.  This one would also look amazing over a dark base because of the iridescent glitters. Application was smooth and easy and a glossy finish achieved with one coat of Seche Vite.

Deepwild Shallows - A rich teal jelly with floating burgundy, magenta, green and lime glitters and a blue shimmer. This is three thin coats on it's own. I love this without a base because you get so much depth in the layers of the glitters in the jelly base.  Application was good, although you need to wait a little longer between coats to ensure the large glitters don't drag through the base.

Do it for Twinkles - A bright almost neon pink crelly base with copper/gold shimmer and iridescent glitter and neon pink glitters in different shapes and sizes. The base is sheer in this one, but it can still be build up to opacity at three coats on it's own. Otherwise you can easily layer it over either a light or dark base. I did three coats below and I didn't have any issues with VNL.

Grove of Shards - A rich berry jelly base with a mix of bright glitters and iridescent accents. There are copper, brown, magenta, orange, neon pink, coral and gold hexes, holo lavender shards and holo pink triangles - I love the triangle glitters, they are a fun shape but they are not too big so applying them is a breeze. This is two coats of Grove of Shards on it's own. Love the jelly depth again.

Sorrowmurk - A clear base with various sizes of hexes, dots and shimmers in chartreuse, golds, melon, lime and iridescent orange. I layered two thin coats over Chanel Peridot. The gold/green base to Peridot really complimented this green and gold glitter topper. Application was smooth and easy.

Sunspring - A pale tangerine with green/gold micro flakies that shift to blue. This one applies smoothly, but is a bit strange to apply. It looks like a creme polish, but as you wipe it onto the nail you can really see the little shards spiking up. It dries totally smooth and is opaque in two coats.

Temple Gardens - A very pale pink jelly base filled with pink glitters in different shades, shapes and sizes, plus blue iridescent squares and shimmer which really pop over dark colours. I couldn't decided how to wear this one, so I did both. This is one coat layered over both black and white.

The Fallen Brood - A rich, dark blackened purple jelly with lavender holo, shimmering purple and black holo hexes. This one has a range of shapes in it, including stars and moons which means application can be a little trickier, plus if you have a strong C curve like me, they don't sit flat easily.  Therefore a few layers of a thick top coat are needed. I did two coats of The Fallen Brood with three layers to top coat.  This one would also look amazing layered over a dark purple base.

The Forgotten Coast - A bright leafy green base filled with golds, limes, greens, blues and hints of purple. Application was smooth and easy and coverage was great at two coats.

Heamotolangia - A rich blood-red jelly full of red, burgundy, coral and purple glitters and a magenta shimmer. Again, this one can be worn either on it's own or over a base.  This is two thicker coats on it's own.  I love that I don't have a VNL but I can still see through the polish at the layers of glitters. Don't you just love how this one glows!

Which one is your favourite?  I'm surprisingly drawn to Mermaiden's Adoration, which is unusual for me given there is an awesome greeny gold in there.

These ten new shades are available now from Femme Fatale Cosmetics. Femme Fatale also ships internationally.
