My rainbow themed nails look a bit juvinele and childish today, at least that's what I was going for with today's look. I wanted to combine challenge posts from the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas year long challenge (only 3 weeks to go!) and the 31 Day Challenge. It a tough mix trying to do squeeze both themes into one mani, just so I don't have to create and post two separate manis in one day.
The theme for the 40GNAI challenge is books, which brings me to this design. My beautiful 5 year old daughter loves to draw and colour in. It's quite possibiliy her favourite thing to do. In fact her Kindy class recently created a class book called "Happiness is", where each child drew a picture and wrote what happiness was for them. My girl drew a picture of her drawing pictures and said "Happiness is drawing pictures".
Another little book that she recently created was called Rainbow and it was full from cover to cover of her rainbow drawings. The design I painted on my nails is from the first picture in her book.
Now lets just take a moment to reflect on how clever I am for bringing both 'rainbow' and 'book' together into one mani!
